Course Objectives:Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Determine if a computer crime has been committed
- Identify methods to gather and preserve evidence of computer crime
- Describe investigative measures and techniques for computer related crime

Prerequisite:
An understanding of data networking basics or taking the Networking: Foundations course is recommended.
Audience:
Individuals that need to understand network security concepts specifically related to Law and Ethics, specifically, Network Administrators, Network Consultants and Security Planners.
Course Description:
This course introduces the student to computer crime laws and regulations. Investigative measures and techniques, methods to gather evidence as well as ethical behaviour for the security professional will be explained.
