Technology Training: Communications Courses: Networking: Foundations
This one-day course is the foundation course that launches the student into the world of networking. The course begins with an overview and history of data communications. It is followed with a detailed discussion of the elements that comprise a network. There is an in-depth discussion on how technologies within a Local Area Network and a Wide Area Network are implemented. Bridging, switching and routing concepts are introduced.
